Our Mission

HRM is committed to the development of engineering and technological expertise in the production of rotomoulded plastic products and components. Our continued success will only be achieved by providing our customers with a level of support, excellence of service and quality which exceeds their high expectations. Our culture of continuous improvement and teamwork fully embraces lean manufacturing and optimises the talents of all our staff.

Our History

HRM started as part of composites moulding company Haywood Plastics in 1989, becoming a Limited Company in its own right in 1997. Initially only manufacturing traffic bollards, it soon became apparent that the rotomoulding process offered a wealth of opportunities to reduce the cost and improve the quality of a massive variety of products and assemblies. HRM progressively invested in factory facilities and machinery and year on year growth was significant. Through ongoing training and recruitment HRM assembled a team with experience and expertise second to none in the rotomoulding industry. This enabled us to offer our customers a complete one-stop service from 3-D CAD design, through to tooling manufacture, sampling/prototyping and moulding and assembly of the finished product.

HRM - Today and in the Future

Today HRM is one of the premier rotational moulding companies in Europe, operating in its own 40,000 sq ft factory premises with purpose built office, tool making, showroom and manufacturing facilities. We operate a wide variety of moulding machines suitable for producing very small to very large plastic products in low or high volume production run.

Our design and manufacturing is quality accredited to ISO 9001. We operate a fully computerised MRP system and we practice lean manufacturing.We undertake much of the product design and development work which would previously have been done by our customers. Our technical team is at the forefront of the development of new materials and processing techniques which enable us to offer our customers higher performance and better quality products.

Our future plans are to continue our growth across an ever wider selection of industries where the benefits of the rotomoulding process are yet to be realised. To do this it will be necessary to expand our manufacturing facilities, which we can easily do on our existing site, and to install the next generation of state of the art automated rotomoulding machines which are much more energy efficient and kinder to the environment With this in mind we are also in the process of gaining accreditation to the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.
